‘Saturday Night Live’ Mocks Ivanka Trump For Being ‘Complicit’

“Hi, I’m Max. It’s me Max”. Johansson was great once again and clearly not afraid to tackle anything thrown at her by the writers.

Suddenly a dark cloud rolled in over the laboratory.

Host Scarlett Johansson played Ivanka in a glamorous spot reminiscent of Charlize Theron’s ads for Dior J’Adore. And I like Trump.

Another thing that would easily help SNL tremendously is if they were able to snag another big appearance from Alec Baldwin as Donald Trump, given the fact that he was not there for the Spencer show, and neither was Melissa McCarthy as Sean Spicer. This one focuses on Ivanka Trump, who has been lauded with acclaim for being a successful feminist. Johansson, who joins Candice Bergen, Drew Barrymore, and Tina Fey as the only female members of the club, seems like an unlikely five-timer if you look at her film resume.

“There’s no glitch. Donald Trump is our president”, the dog says.

Johansson tried to explain to Max why Trump and his policies are bad, and how they might actually affect the dog’s life. “What about his record on women’s rights?” “A scent made just for her”, the voiceover says.”Because she’s attractive, she’s powerful, she’s complicit”. “I don’t know how much more people can take it, you know”. “He’s my man.” When his appalled owner (Johansson) suggests something’s wrong with the machine, the helmeted and wired-up Max (Beck Bennett doing the voice work, I think) deadpans, “There’s no glitch”.

“We spent ten whole days on one of my dad’s construction sites in Orlando”, she replies. At the same time, she has remained silent on a number of controversial issues-and many believe that she is trying to profit from her father’s position of power.

Ghost in the Shell and Rough Night star Scarlett Johansson was on tap to host for her illustrious fifth round, with Lorde bringing her new single “Green Light” to the stage. Because she’s lovely, she’s powerful, she’s. “Every woman knows her face”, the voiceover intones.

“Saturday Night Live” found new ways to skewer President Donald Trump by using science fiction, a perfume commercial and an adorable dog.

“Complicit” isn’t a fragrance just available for women.

Ivanka’s no dummy, SNL insists, nor just a loving daughter. Al Franken (Alex Moffat in a first-rate impression).

After criticizing SNL often on Twitter, lately Trump has had little to say on social media about the comedy show. “We had lunch at a deli, Jeff”. Sessions said no at the time, but it became clear earlier this month that the 70-year-old attorney general actually met with Sergei Kislyak, the Russian ambassador to the US, on at least two occassions during the campaign.
