You’ve probably heard a few tech bloggers complain about the probable placement of the Galaxy S8’s fingerprint reader – It’s supposedly on the backside, next to the camera. The biggest change seems to be the addition of on-screen buttons, which suggest that users will get amazingly thin bezels on the bottom of the Galaxy S8’s screen. Under the hood, the smartphones will be powered by the newest Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset, making them the first set of smartphones to run the processor.

Adding to that Kuo has also outlined other details about the iPhone 8, such as OLED display, wireless charging, new glass design etc. The Galaxy S8 is expected to feature a 5.8-inch display, while the Galaxy S8+ will have a 6.2-inch display.

With their stunning curved display, powerful processor, super dual pixel cameras and water resistant design, it’s little wonder the phones received widespread praise and won several awards in 2016. We don’t expect to see 4GB RAM until next year, but yes, there might be some storage upgrades with a new 64GB variant in place of 32GB. Both phones promise to be the best versions of its predecessors, all equipped with the latest and most advanced technologies. Samsung will also reportedly sell a special docking accessory separately.

Ming-Chi Kuo, KGI’s noted analyst who has a reputation for being spot-on about Apple, predicted the release date and said Samsung is likely to ship 45 to 50 million units of Galaxy S8 in 2017, according to 9 to 5 Google. Even Galaxy Note 8 will be using a massively powerful battery, possibly around 3,750mAh.

Have you been holding on to the Samsung Galaxy S6 or Galaxy S6 Edge?

Of course the battery capacity of the Samsung Galaxy S8 + will not be 100% confirmed until the Korean manufacturer shows its new phones within two weeks, but it is quite feasible that these data are real.
