According to the National Weather Service, the winter storm that will start late this evening and last throughout the day Tuesday.
Winter Storm Warnings are in effect for most of New Jersey except for Cape May County where a Winter Weather Advisory is in effect. This will lead to whiteout conditions, which will make travel extremely unsafe. This will lead to blowing and drifting snow Tuesday, Tuesday night and Wednesday. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 23. If the snow keeps up, though, we could be in record-setting territory.
The National Weather Service is urging residents, particularly near the Lehigh Valley, to “shelter in place” due to the unsafe conditions expected Tuesday morning.
