Some standard rules apply for customers ordering through Prime Now with Alexa. It allows you to order things like detergents, chips, diapers, office supplies and even alcohol from the comfort of your homes. The item will arrive at your door within the next available two-hour delivery window.

Amazon expects to set a sales record Cyber Monday by moving more than 37 million items. Unfortunately, Prime Now is only available in around 30 cities and only in the US, CNET reports. It is a standalone site and mobile app. Now in 2017 the only logical step is for the company to merge the two together and now the company has announced that Alexa now works with Prime Now.

The functionality is available on all Alexa-powered speakers, including the Echo, Echo Dot, and Tap – plus Amazon devices like the Fire Tablet and Fire TV.
