Four die in a terrorist attack in London

It is as yet unclear whether there is one incident or two – there are reports of violence outside of Parliament and also by Westminster Bridge.

It is thought at least five people were injured on Westminster Bridge after apparently being hit by a auto.

Scotland Yard has identified the police officer who was shot and killed in a terrorist attack on Wednesday in London.

In Edinburgh, the Scottish parliament suspended a planned debate and vote on independence as news of events in London came in. May confirmed Britain’s current threat level, of severe, would remain in place.
