Developers and beta testers have been able to try out some of the more significant updates here for the past several weeks.

That’s important, Feland said, as Siri has “languished” behind competitors like Amazon’s Alexa and Google Home, who have a more open platform ripe for integration across devices and apps.

Speaking of which, Apple CarPlay also gets some love from iOS 10.3, primarily shortcuts for accessing recent applications and even curated playlists courtesy of Apple Music.

What’s your favourite new feature on Apple’s array of devices today?

A new file system is called Apple File System.

Apple has just officially acquired Workflow app and the Workflow team to improve efficiency on iPad and iPhone.

On developers’ side of things, iOS 10.3 will now allow app developers respond to customer reviews, which is a much-needed feature. And since the acquisition, this app Workflow has been made free to all iPhone and iPad users. It can be downloaded using the Software Update function in the Mac App Store on your Mac laptop or desktop. Also, the MacOS is getting the update today which also includes the inclusion of the eyestrain-reducing Night Shift mode. Since then there have been small updates, including most recently iOS 10.2 two months ago. Theater Mode can be activated by swiping up from the bottom of the Apple Watch’s display and tapping the drama-masks button. It might also provide you with a bit more leftover storage space.

In an update to version 1.1, the Apple TV Remote app for iOS has received full iPad support.

As for watchOS 3.2, it now includes Theater Mode, which turns on silent mode and keeps the screen dark until you tap it, so it doesn’t turn on the screen when you are in a dark place like, well, a theater.

Install the update as you normally would. The Workflow app would then become a menu or “store” where consumers could go and select sets of commands that were premade by others. With iOS 10.3, there will also be support for checking the vehicle fuel level, turning on lights, and activating the horn with automaker apps.
