Spider-Man: Homecoming is being directed by Jon Watts and is the second Spider-Man reboot since Tobey Maguire’s film portrayal in the early 2000s. Things don’t go so well for Peter at first, and Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) has to come to his rescue. Parker is determined to prove himself to be more than an average neighborhood Spider-Man, but when the Vulture (Michael Keaton) appears as the new villain, he threatens everything Parker holds dear. We knew there was a battle brewing between Spidey and the Vulture, but we didn’t see conflict with Tony Stark on the horizon!

A new two and a half minute long trailer for Spider-Man: Homecoming was released March 28 to the delight of Spidey fans all around the world. Previous Spider-Man movies didn’t work cohesively with Marvel’s cinematic universe but that changes this year with Spider-Man: Homecoming.

Michael Keaton is portraying the classic comic book baddie in his second super-powered bird-based character after his Golden Globe-winning turn in Birdman. With Iron Man coming in to guide and help the young Spider-Man, the film promises some real nail-biting action and adventure.

The film also stars Zendaya, Tony Revolori, Logan Marshall-Green, Marisa Tomei, Jon Favreau, Donald Glover, Bokeem Woodbine, Tyne Daly, and more. Robert Downey Jr. and Tom Holland have some great chemistry and it looks like that’ll be the source for most of the levity in the movie.
