Real Madrid increased the pressure on Barcelona in LaLiga’s title race with a battling victory over Copa del Rey finalists Alaves.

Real Madrid continued their push for league honours following a routine 3-0 win over mid-table Deportivo Alaves on Sunday afternoon. “Of course I do, because he is a Real Madrid player and an important player for our team. & #8220;He’s an ideal partner for Cristiano Ronaldo, even though it’s true he hasn’t reached the exact same amount for France”. We will not win easy matches.

Arsenal are gearing up for a busy summer of rebuilding following a disappointing campaign and Rodriguez is the caliber of player the north Londoners need to sign if they’re to become genuine title challengers again.

Messi is banned for the first time in five seasons.

The Uruguay striker scored Barca’s opener with a classy lob in the 44th minute and provided assists for Paco Alcacer and Ivan Rakitic to seal the points after the home side surprisingly drew level early in the second half through Jeremie Boga. We were losing balls too easily.

Neymar added extra shine to the victory with his 100th goal for Barca by knocking in a cross from Alcacer in added time. It finished 3-0 to Los Blancos, but it was a slow start for Zinedine Zidane’s side in a month of tough tests.

Granada boss Lucas Alcaraz reacted by bringing Boga, on loan from Chelsea, on for the start of the second half and within minutes the move paid off as the midfielder latched on to a through-ball and slotted home an equaliser. “We know that at any moment we can hurt the opponent”. Real Madrid left Edgar completely free at the back post, but he sent his right footed shot wide of the far post. They are now in 10th place in the league but they are also only four points back from seventh-place Athletic Bilbao.

Sevilla’s slump continued after a fourth consecutive round without a win.

Real Madrid should be at full strength with the only debate over whether or not Keylor Navas continues in goal or if Kiko Casilla could be given a chance.

“The team isn’t taking advantage of its chances”, Sampaoli said.

A hard week for Sevilla because of off-field issues ended with them creating enough chances to have won the game, only to be frustrated by some poor finishing and the good work of Sporting keeper, Pichu Cuellar. Leganes went ahead in the 29th minute through Alexander Szymanowski.
