But I suspect that while we’re now calling the SM-T670 a tablet, it’ll be marketed as something for use on a table-top or desk like an all-in-one PC or table computer. Still, some manufacturers are still considering bigger models. And by giant, we mean a display size of 18.4 inches diagonally, albeit with a Full HD 1080p (1920×1080) resolution.

According to SamMobile, the device (codename Tahoe) will run a modified version of Android 5.1 Lollipop and feature an 18.4-inch display with a surprisingly low resolution of 1080p. For example, a tablet that large could be mounted in a living room, or could be used in a conference room for video chats with remote colleagues. But a new report from China says Samsung is working on a Windows 10 tablet. Memory is pegged at 2GB with internal storage listed at 32GB.
And just in case you’re wondering exactly how large this 18.4-inch tablet will be, its body is said to measure 451.8mm wide, 275.8mm tall, and 11.9mm thick. Is that too big, or could you see yourself owning one?
At this point, there’s no word as to when the scaled-up tablet will see the light of day, but the report suggests that Samsung does actually intend to bring this to market at some point.
Currently, we don’t have any information regarding a launch date or the price, as it’s still under development. Strangely no one has mentioned the things weight.
