The Highland Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5694 will host its annual Easter egg hunt and kite flying contest beginning at 1 p.m. April 16.

With spring weather on the horizon, the Hastings City Parks and Recreation Department is gearing up for its annual Easter Egg Hunt at 2 p.m. Saturday. Registration for summer recreation programs and early bird pool passes will also be available.

A Paulding church is inviting the public as it drops 25,000 plastic eggs from a helicopter during its “Eggstravaganza” event Saturday, April 15.
