After this entire debacle, Reliance has introduced a new Jio Dhan Dhana Dhan offer. The Summer Surprise offer was available to users who had signed up for the Jio Prime service ( a Rs 99 fee) and had signed up for the Rs 301 voice and data package. Additionally, a recharge with one of Jio’s tariff plan is required to complete the enrollment process.
The rumors become true, and Jio comes out with the new plans with same unlimited benefits.
For now, though the website continues to show a “we are working on new plans” banner. As reported yesterday, the Jio website only now does not list any new offers – but does say that they will soon be arriving with new offers. Those who are not subscribed to Jio Prime also can enjoy this offer for Rs.349.
Because of this Jio Dhan Dhana Dhan offer, once again the Airtel telecom operator is trying to create problems for Jio.
Rs. 608 (Rs. 509 + Rs 99): Rs. 509 offer benefits with Jio prime membership.
Essentially, it is a reprise of “Summer Surprise” offer called off by the company on the directions of TRAI (Telecom Regulatory Authority of India).
Last week, TRAI had asked Reliance to discontinue its Summer Surprise as it was in compliance with the norms.
Not all users get the same offers. This plan offers you 2GB data per day and unlimited voice calls for 84 days.
This indicates that customers will now acquire 1GB of data every day with no limit to national calling for 84 straight days.
Rs 509 offer allows 2GB usage per day for a period of three months (84 days). Interestingly there is no plan, currently, for postpaid users. While Reliance Jio has been accused of finding ways among the telecom rules to give users extremely lucrative offers for such a long time. First things first, the offer is not the same as the Summer Surprise offer.
Can existing customer get Jio Dhan Dhana Dhan benefits if they recharge now? Incidentally, there’s no Rs 303 plan any more. Adding that “it is fully complying with the regulator’s advice”. Under this offer, the users can avail unlimited benefits on their Jio number.
