Arsenal are now fighting a battle to finish in the Premier League’s top four, sitting seven points behind fourth-placed Manchester City after being humbled 3-0 at Crystal Palace on Monday.

They lie sixth, three points behind Manchester United, and seven behind Manchester City.
Arsenal fans let their feelings be known during a second half in which the Gunners failed to manage a shot on target and Carragher didn’t hold back as he let rip.
There is simply no excuse for how poor the Arsenal team have been of late and the harsh reality for Gunners supporters is that similar dejected performances have become an all-too- regular occurrence for the prestigious club. It’s looking likely they will miss out of a top four spot for the first time under Arsene Wenger, while they trail north London rivals Tottenham by a massive 14 points. On that front that is the most hard for us.
Crystal Palace had left Arsenal struggling to maintain their run of top-four finishes under Wenger. “When you are a big club you want to win every game, so that is normal”.
“I’m sorry Arsene, I love you, you’ve been absolutely sensational, but it’s affected the game and the team enormously”. It’s a big worry.
