Unsurprisingly people are suspicious because there has been no official confirmation the smartphone exists. It is also said that BlackBerry could replace some Google services with its own.

While all the leaks so far have pointed at the Venice running Android, those that decide to pick up this device will still be able to enjoy some great features from BlackBerry 10 like the Hub, Calendar, and more.
Recently though, Blass again posted some fresh images of what is purported to be a BlackBerry device.
According to the rumours, The Venice will run Android Lollipop out-of-the-box.
It is a black handset with a slide-down QWERTY keyboard. However, it also has a touchscreen display that can be used when the physical keyboard is tucked away, Value Walk reports. For instance, most Android enthusiasts will state that a close-to-stock experience is what’s best for an Android smartphone. But now, the Canadian firm is striving to regain its old glory by taking advantage of the widely popular Android OS, the report details. Dubbed as the BlackBerry Venice, the new phone looks to be any other signature smartphone nowadays – a slick build with a combination of rounded and edged form factor.
The last flagship phone the company released was the BlackBerry Passport.
