Trade order, campaign rally on Trump’s 100th day
“Governing, so far, has turned out to be more than Mr Trump can manage”, the paper wrote. But the biggest cheers greeted his focus on efforts to increase immigration enforcement and crack down on sanctuary cities, which have refused to cooperate with federal efforts to deport undocumented residents. Trump has said all options are on the table if Pyongyang persists in its nuclear development. “The world is getting the message”.

Instead he insisted that “we need the wall to stop the drugs and the human trafficking” and “we’ll have the wall – don’t worry about it”. We’ve canceled restrictions on the production of oil, natural gas and clean coal.
Trump planned to sign an executive order directing the Commerce Department and the United States trade representative to conduct a study of USA trade agreements.
The President was greeted with cheers and chants of “USA!”
It’s no secret that President Donald Trump distrusts the mainstream media.
Signalling that he may withdraw from the Paris Climate Accord, he said full compliance with the “one sided agreement” could “ultimately shrink American GDP by 2.5 trillion dollars over a 10 year period”.
He had pledged to label China a currency manipulator, part of his tough-on-China populist rhetoric. Trump told supporters to get ready for what he calls the great battles to come as he looks to his second 100 days in office. “I said, ‘Has to be'”.
In the final week, the president’s team tried to tackle the repeal of Obamacare (despite Congress’ resounding failure on this front in March), to get money for the border wall and to introduce the president’s overhaul of the tax code.
He said “I’m with you” from the stage at the Republican convention in Cleveland last July. We will not stand for this.
Mark Hoffman, of Newark, Ohio, was parked outside the Farm Show in a truck emblazoned with pro-Trump slogans.
Others carried an effigy of Trump that read “Putin’s puppet” in reference to investigations into ties between the Trump campaign and Russian Federation, while some went on to highlight the environmental impact of Trump’s frequent weekend trips to Florida, which are spent at his Mar-a-Lago golf estate.
In his first 100 days in office, Trump has produced hundreds of tweets, fired scores of rockets at Syria, signed dozens of executive orders, made one big move on the Supreme Court and signed no major legislation. Aides say lawmakers closely involved in negotiating the $1 trillion package over the weekend have worked through many sticking points in hopes of making the measure public as early as Sunday night.
Although supporters dominated the audience, there were some protesters.
All presidents now must govern largely via the media, but Trump is perhaps the first to be quite so governed by it – so defined by a media vision of the world. “It takes a lot longer time”, said Terry Madonna, a professor of presidential history and Pennsylvania pollster.
The first 100 days of the Trump presidency has included two travel bans and several executive orders.
“He’s not a lifetime politician, that’s what appeals to me”, he said. “This is focused more narrowly on the agreements themselves”.
In the AP interview, Trump said there was “a pretty vast area” between the approach by the most conservative members of his party and those who are more moderate. “People feel for people fleeing bad situations”.
Otherwise, the problems he has encountered in his first 100 days will only become magnified, and the outcome for Republicans in the 2018 midterm elections might prove more devastating than anything they can imagine.

Trump is heading to Pennsylvania in the evening to visit a shovel factory and appear at a rally in Harrisburg, the state capital. The Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) was on the run and the USA would smash it, he said. “We have a robust and recovering economy”. Trump lashed out at Freedom Caucus leaders on Twitter and indicated he would seek retribution come campaign season. “We are not failing news organisations, and we are not the enemy of the American people”, Mason said.
