Wladimir Klitschko vows to return following loss to Anthony Joshua

“I would say probably as a programmer and marketer, I probably want a couple of fights in the United States to allow Anthony to get more acquainted, and more of a household name in the U.S. market”.

“It’s my time and I want my WBA belt so yeah I’m calling Joshua out”.

“You heard it yourself, how Joshua didn’t mention my name knowing I’m next for him but he called out Fury after”, he said.

Joshua is already looking for his next fight.

Fury has not fought since winning a unanimous decision over Klitschko in November 2015.

Hearn, a lifelong boxing fan, said last weekend’s bout was one of the best he could recall and was fit to be ranked alongside the classic 1970s trio of heavyweight fights between Muhammad Ali and Joe Frazier.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) recalls that Joshua defended his IBF heavyweight title and fought for the vacant WBA (Super) and IBO heavyweight titles against Klitschko before 90, 000 spectators at Wembley Stadium.

“It is the world heavyweight championship”.

Fury has not fought beating Klitschko in November 2015 and previous year he surrendered the titles he won in that fight to focus on his mental health problems.

“But I think the team around him, ie his wife, and they normally wear the pants, and his brother (Vitali), they will advise him differently”, Joshua added. The three-time Grand Slam champion didn’t make it till the end of the fight to witness Joshua’s big win at Wembley.

Fury responded to Joshua’s callout by saying he could defeat him with one hand tied behind his back and that he would not even have to warm up.

“I like to entertain and if that s a fight that will bring entertainment to the sport again, then I would love to be involved”, added Joshua, nicknamed AJ.

And, after he beat Wladimir Klitschko on Saturday night, the boxing coach has said he “knew there was something there” nearly immediately when he met Anthony.

“I would just like to congratulate AJ for getting through the nip-and-tuck, life-and-death situation, against an old man, so well done”.
