The unemployment rate fell slightly in July throughout the state to a seasonally adjusted 5.4 percent from 5.6 percent in June, but was down more than a half percentage point over July 2014.

Wallace says the state still remains close to the full unemployment level, which is 3.5 percent.
About 85,100 San Diegans were unemployed last month out of a civilian labor force of 1.58 million, according to EDD data.
“There are some mixed indicators, notably the unemployment rate increased two tenths of a percent”, said Paul Shannon, the state’s Labor Market Information Director. Over the past year, Minnesota has gained 43,719 jobs, a growth rate of 1.5 percent. “You have to go back 20 years to mid-1995 to find a similar comparison between the U.S. and Kentucky economies”. The employment to population ratio, or the ratio of the total working age labor force now employed to the total working age population, was 59.3. President Obama and his agenda are supposed to be causing an economic nightmare of historic proportions, with “job creators” crying over their balance sheets when they’re not being dragged into the streets for their ritual tar-and-feathering.
Across the six New England states, the unemployment rate was down to 4.7 percent from 4.8 percent in June. This sector includes arts, entertainment, recreation, accommodation and food services. In June, the county lost 500 jobs. “So we saw a slight job in the number of temporary workers and somewhat of a weaker showing in professional and business services”, according to Wallace.

The next unemployment update is scheduled for September 1, when the county unemployment rates for July 2015 will be released. Spartanburg County declined to 6.4 percent from 6.7 percent. Eight divisions had significant rate changes from a year earlier, all of which were declines. Since July 2014, jobs this sector have expanded by 1,000 positions. Adding up all those categories gives what Arizona what is called a U-6 rate for the past year of 13.8 percent.
