All members of the Concert Promoters Association will continue to work with venues, Police, stewarding companies and the relevant authorities and it is our understanding that outside of the Manchester Arena and the Ariana Grande tour, all other planned concerts and events will go ahead, as advertised, unless ticketholders are directly advised to the contrary.

The bomb wielded by Abedi was created to kill and maim as many people as possible; numerous survivors suffered shrapnel wounds and ball bearings were found at the scene.

Although no terrorist group claimed responsibility immediately after the attack, police said the incident was being investigated as a terrorist attack, according to Newsweek. It is a popular concert and sporting venue.

Officials say there was only one explosion, and there have been no indications that other devices were discovered at or near the arena.

12 of the 59 casualties of the attack are reported to be children. Some fans took to Twitter to share video they said was taken inside the arena; giant pink balloons were tousled above the crowds of concert-goers fleeing toward the exits. She had to make it through “absolute mayhem” to get there.

“Parents were frantic running about trying to get to their children”, she said.

Immediately the police presence in the Victoria train station, which adjoins the concert hall, was enormous, said Moir, who rushed to meet her partner on the curb outside.

“And although it is not the first time Manchester has suffered in this way, it is the worst attack the city has experienced, and the worst ever to hit the north of England”.

In Turkey, 39 people died when a gunman attacked New Year’s revelers at the Reina nightclub in Istanbul. My partner was helping to try to stem the blood from this one person … they were pouring blood from their leg.

The first confirmed victim was Georgina Callander, whose death was reported by her former school.

A Manchester-based marketing company called Social Chain has also organized a crowdfunding campaign for the victims of the Ariana Grande concert attack.

Saffie Roussos, aged 8, was the youngest of the victims identified so far. ISIS has been linked to most of the attacks, and on Tuesday, claimed responsibility for the concert bombing.

The spokesman said May had spoken with U.S. President Donald Trump, French President Emmanuel Macron, Italian Prime Minister Paolo Gentiloni and Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull and would likely have calls with other world leaders.

From Manchester the tour is to move through Europe, including Belgium, Poland, Germany, Switzerland and France, through the summer with stops in Brazil, Chile, Argentina, Costa Rica, Mexico and on to Japan, Thailand, the Philippines, New Zealand, Australia and more.

The steady stream of assaults has included large-scale attacks orchestrated in great detail by ISIS, like coordinated shootings and bombings in Paris in November 2015 that left 130 dead.
