More rain on the way tonight through Thursday morning
Overall, a pretty nice day despite the limited sunshine. Afternoon highs jump into the mid 70s but we’ll have more clouds and isolated showers. Highs everywhere jumped into the 60s & low 70s. It will be hot with highs reaching 90 degrees. There is also a slight risk of severe storms later today. That’s when we’ll finally clear out and dry out for a bit.

Clouds and rain spin towards ME later this week.
Good evening! After our showers and a few thunderstorms today, we are looking at more tomorrow.
A few showers this morning through around midday as a system moves past New England. Wednesday night, showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm.
A cold front passes offshore in the morning on Tuesday, followed by clearing skies on the heels of a drying air mass from the Ohio River Valley. Chance of precipitation is 70 percent.
Over the weekend, we are still not expecting any rain for our Saturday. Our current cool stretch will continue through Wednesday with warmer temperatures returning later this week. All the while, lows will be falling into the upper 40s & low 50s. Temperatures will remain mild on Thursday with highs in the mid 70s. A deep southerly flow should spread plenty of moisture up the coast into New England. This rain will be on the lighter side but it will be rather steady by sunset. Neither day looks like a wash-out but you might have to dodge a few drops. Storms will move in from the east, pivoting around the center of the low pressure. Highs in the upper 80s. Highs Friday will be back close to 80°. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 50.
Memorial Day looks mainly dry. Saturday night skies will be mostly clear to partly cloudy with lows in the mid-60s and there will be a 10-20 percent chance of thundershowers for southeastern parts of the Big Country. MONDAY (MEMORIAL DAY): Clouds mix with sun. This is the show all about weather featuring many familiar voices, including meteorologists at ABC 33/40.
