According to Entertainment Weekly, the recent blockbuster film “Straight Outta Compton” that spoke about the famous N.W.A. rap group’s climb to success in the music industry during the late 80’s earned almost $100 million dollars to date.
A future Ice Cube/O’Shea Jackson Jr. involvement in the movie is not completely out of the question but we hear there are many factors involved, so that is considered a remote possibility at best.
Ice Cube will forever rep Los Angeles and wear the city on his back.
Production for April 29, 1992 starts in February.
Ice Cube says it was a dream come to not only make the movie but to also have his son O’Shea Jackson, Jr. portray him in the film.
Ice Cube, who’s in the middle of promoting N.W.A’s biopic Straight Outta Compton, had a somewhat surprising response when asked about the seminal hip-hop group’s legacy. Two of the TV personalities that partook parts in the movie included Ice Cube and his son O’Shea Jackson, the latter portraying his own father’s character in the film.

Ice Cube and his son would both star in April 29, 1992, which follows an ex-con who must save his son from a looting raid on a jewelry shop. However, the said statement did not disclose if the actors would have a change of heart when casting for the film would be finalized.
