McGregor takes subtle approach to trolling Mayweather

He interrupted the London leg of the Alvarez-Golovkin press tour to declare his interest in fighting the victor of September’s bout but Alvarez said: “To tell you the truth, I didn’t even recognise him”.

McGregor is fighting Mayweather under a separate promotion from the UFC so he’s not beholden to the promotion’s exclusive clothing deal with Reebok, who makes the fight kids worth by all competitors inside the Octagon.

“Floyd is going to hit him and Floyd is going to catch him over and over and over”.

That’s because the wall is adorned with a large mural of McGregor punching Mayweather right in the face.

No doubt he’ll be raking in cash for a long time to come but he started as a young boy in Dublin who knew he wanted to fight and didn’t want to be broke anymore.

“You’re supposed to stand behind your man. Stand behind the fighter that you believe in”, Mayweather said about McGregor’s supporters. While Mayweather’s almost ideal defense has seen him go 49-0 throughout the course of his professional career, many believe that McGregor’s precision combined with his incredible power will lead him to a victory.

The BIG3 basketball league begins play June 25 in Brooklyn, New York, with games scheduled in eight more cities before moving to Las Vegas for the championship. He does these exceptional things all the time, if he says he’s gonna go in and knock him out, he’s gonna go in and knock him out. But look, Conor does these things.

When asked about the main bout, Broner gave a more thoughtful reply, “It’s a huge fight”.

“I’m not sure if he’s ever going to fight again”.

“Everybody knows. Conor is not a boxer, just a show”.

“They’re still working on it so I’m just waiting for them to make it official”, Jack said.

“This is business. Conor with Floyd is not a boxing fight: everybody’s saying Conor’s not a boxer”.

It is very unlikely though, Mayweather has gone 49 wins straight for a reason and though the “puncher’s chance” is one I will never discount, the idea that a debutant could dethrone a legend is one nearly too far-fetched to imagine.
