The Buffalo Bills are hosting the New York Jets in Week One of the National Football League 2017 schedule on September 10, 2017, kick off time at 1:00 PM ET. On this day, the Jets defense kept the team in the game and did a good job of containing the Bills wide receivers, however they did have trouble with the tight end position.

My fantasy football team is cheekily named “17 Years and Counting” for a reason. After a season in which the running back’s rushing yardage had dropped from an NFL-best 1,607 in 2013 to 1,319 in 2014, the arrogant coach believed McCoy was on the decline.

For the past 3-4 years Buffalo has seemingly been on the cusp of finally ending their playoff drought, maybe a convincing week one win will allow this team to settle in and surprise a lot of people in 2017.

True that, but the Bills are going to have to guard against overusing McCoy because he is engine that drives their offense. I guess, in the end, the Bills will somehow (I’m looking at you, defense) find a way to squeak out what will be a rare victory this season.
This is hardly Bowles’ first game management blunder.
“We ain’t in no business of we’ll wait ’til next year”, McLendon said. McCoy, who has averaged over three catches per game in his career, racked up over 1,600 all-purpose yards a year ago and is probably the best offensive playmaker in this game.
Fantasy fallout: McCoy fantasy owners should be happy about his big day, but it could have been much bigger.

Hyde’s interception with 1:35 remaining sealed the Bills win. Poyer and Hyde both came away with interceptions of Jets quarterback Josh McCown. Buffalo scored back-to-back touchdowns and then intercepted QB Josh McCown twice to seal the win. Joe Banyard and Jonathan Williams were the stars of that Lions game, combining for 24 carries, 121 yards and two touchdowns.
Buffalo held a 236-85 advantage in yardage at halftime, but only led 7-6.
What I liked: Stop me if you have heard this before: RB LeSean McCoy was the engine of the offense.
Six Bills had at least one gain of more than 20 yards and Buffalo had eight such plays overall, including a 47-yard reception by Jordan Matthews and a 35-yarder by Charles Clay. While Taylor isn’t in the upper echelon of quarterbacks, he does have the edge over McCown.
Buffalo would reopen a more comfortable lead when Taylor hit Andre Holmes for another short, one-yard touchdown.

Newly acquired kicker Stephen Hauschka also missed a 46-yard attempt wide left.
