ISU men just released their Big 12 basketball schedule

The 18-game round double-round robin schedule starts on Saturday, Jan. 2 as the Cyclones hit the road to face Oklahoma.

The Bears travel to Oklahoma State (Jan. 27, ESPNU) before returning home for the Big 12/SEC Challenge game against Georgia (Jan. 30, ESPN2) and an ESPN Big Monday home game against Texas (Feb. 1, ESPN). HU will also face Iowa State (Nov. 13), Texas (Nov. 25) and Princeton (Jan. 3).

The Big 12 Championship will be played March 9-12 at the Sprint Center in Kansas City, Mo.

The Mountaineers will open the conference season on the road Jan. 2 against Kansas State and play at TCU two days later.

Now that television networks (primarily ESPN) have slotted their matchups for the upcoming basketball season, the Big 12 finalized its men’s conference schedule.

K-State will head to Allen Fieldhouse at 8 p.m. on Feb. 3.

In all, the Cowboys are slated for six games on either ESPN or ESPN2, nine games on ESPNU and three games on ESPNews.

Feb. 20 – at Kansas State, 5 p.m. Tipoff times and television for those games are to be determined, but every game on the schedule will be televised in some capacity.

The Sooners’ game at Texas will mark their first regular season contest on CBS since the 2005-06 season.

Jan. 19 – at Oklahoma State, 6 p.m. Fox Sports 1 5 p.m.

Saturday, Feb. 6 at West Virginia* ESPN2 7 p.m.

Tues Jan. 26 Kansas State * Morgantown ESPNEWS 7 p.m.

Saturday, Feb. 20 at Texas* ESPN/2 1 p.m.

As announced last week, OSU will play in ESPN’s Big Monday game on Feb. 15 at Kansas.

Jan. 30: Norfolk State, 4 p.m.

Tues Feb. 16 at Texas

The Wildcats will not make an appearance on Big Monday.
