Nokia 3310 relaunched with 3G internet for first time

The new Nokia 3310 additionally incorporates the general Micro-USB port and discard the stick charger.

Besides the vibrant Yellow and Warm Red color options, the new Nokia 3310 3G will also become available in two new color options: Azure and Charcoal. The device boasts of a 2.4-inch QVGA display with 240×320 pixel resolution. The handset didn’t came with 3G support which was a cause of worry for many Nokia 3310. The customization includes rearranging icons and choosing color themes from one of six colors.

The new Nokia 3310 comes with 16MB storage and supports expandable storage via microSD card up to 32GB. Among other things, the internal memory gets an upgrade too.

Inbuilt browser: 3G brings with it the possibility of data, and with that in mind, the 3310 comes with the mobile Opera browser pre-installed. The older variant of Nokia 3310 phone which was launched earlier this year only features 2G speeds only.

The MD-12 offered wireless connectivity through Bluetooth and NFC and it also provided users with audio-out connector.

HMD Global quotes 40 hours of MP3 playback from a full-charge, or 27 days standby. But still puts up a fight when compared to battery lives seen on latest handsets.

The Nokia 2 phone would feature software based navigation buttons and there would be no any capacitive touch screen buttons. The Nokia 3310 3g will be available from mid-October and will set buyers back by around €69/£60.

However, instead of launching a 3G enabled device, the company could have gone with the 4G capable smartphone, which would have made a huge impact in the developing countries like India and China. It will go on sale starting October 16th in Australia and will be available through JB Hi-Fi, Harvey Norman, Telstra, and Vodafone.
