Apple relegates iPod to store shelves in retail shakeup

Moreover, Apple has also made some changes to its official website by merging the Apple Online Store with the Apple.com website.

The changes are anticipated to come into effect on Wednesday, August 19, in U.S. stores. Apple’s signature products, the iPad, Mac, iPhone, iPod and Apple Watch, have typically been stored in the back storage area of an Apple Store. The iPads showed up in Apple Stores in 2011, when the paper displays were replaced with iPad 2s to make the experience more interactive.
