NFL National Anthem Protests Continue in Week 4 in London

The Miami Dolphins and New Orleans Saints will battle in one of the NFL’s London games at Wembley Stadium on Sunday.

Last season, the Panthers came back from 13 points down with less than five minutes to go to pull off the victory against a 49ers team that is one of the newer ones in the top level of college football.

The Dolphins are looking to rebound from an ugly 20-6 loss to the New York Jets last week.

Miami’s drive ended when Cutler threw an interception in the end zone.

Lutz missed his first try, a 41-yarder, wide right on the second play of the second quarter, and the teams threatened to have the first scoreless opening half since Week 14 of the 2011 season until Lutz connected from 43 yards with no time remaining.

Miami is 1-1 due to their Week 1 game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers being moved in the wake of Hurricane Irma. The game is mostly -2.5 to -3 (EVEN) everywhere now. They were outgained by the Jets and held to a paltry 30 yards on the ground. None of the carries resulted in a first down. Can he bounce back from last week’s 11-carry, 16-yard performance?

With Jay Ajayi lining up in the shotgun, and Jarvis Landry alongside him in the backfield, the Dolphins trotted Cutler outside the hash marks and he did not want to be there.

This will be the third time New Orleans has played away from the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in four games. Parker (12 receptions, 161 yards, one touchdown) has been hot and cold this season, but his athleticism has always been on display and his size (6-foot-3, 212 pounds) is an advantage.

London-born Jay Ajayi, who plays for the Dolphins and poster boy of the International Series, stood during the U.S. national anthem.

Likewise, in its Week 2 19-17 win over the Los Angeles Chargers, Miami did not turn the ball over once.

Plenty went wrong against NY. The Dolphins were dominated by the Jets, a team that is not considered a contender.

This cross-conference contest is important for both teams.

Then Detroit safety Glover Quin intercepted a pass and ran it back for a touchdown. On defense, the Saints are giving up 26 points and 452.3 yards per game, including 325.7 passing yards per contest. Miami WR Kenny Stills played first two National Football League seasons for Saints. I don’t see Miami’s secondary holding up against Drew Brees.

The Saints are elated to have ended their losing streak while picking up a win within the division. “Guys like Cam Wake, Suh, Kiko (Alonso), Reshad (Jones); I feel like I owe them a lead so they can rush the passer”. If the Saints can keep Suh and Co. from wrecking havoc on Brees’ tidy little pockets, it will set up the downfield plays and allow Ted Ginn and Michael Thomas to pick up chunk yardage.
