Mariota’s potential return is one of the only things worth a smile regarding the Titans’ offense Sunday.
He was signed as insurance at the position with Tennessee uncertain about the status of starter Marcus Mariota with a hamstring injury. A 59-yard touchdown reception by Delanie Walker was negated by a pass interference penalty on Jonnu Smith.
Mariota said he needs to have some mobility in order to be able to play. Facing a possible 1-3 hole and a reeling defense, is this the game where Gase throws his conservatism in the trash and opens things up? Facing a strong run defense and a lackluster pass defense, it will be interesting to see how the run-oriented Titans game plan for tomorrow.

Reshad Jones: he had a career day playing to an ultra high level and capping it off scoring a TD from a loose ball after Kiko Alonso jarred Matt Cassel’s arm when he was in the throwing motion. Cassel was intercepted twice with one returned for a touchdown and stripped of the ball when sacked.
