Shane McMahon Jumped Off A Cage Last Night And It Was Intense
Not an empty threat.

From a purely athletic perspective, this match has the potential to be one of the best on the card, as both of these guys are great in-ring performers who “bring it” almost every night. Thus, there is little doubt the Singh Brothers will interfere and Mahal will retain his title in the end. This is likely going to be the match of the night. Hopefully this means Styles moves on to contend for the WWE Title. In the next match, which proved to be a high-flying yet brutal encounter, The Usos defeated The New Day to become new SmackDown Tag Team Champions. The only complaint I have is that the Usos don’t have a third member to counter Xavier on the side. Jinder Mahal needs to drop the belt asap, as it has now lost all relevance and the company need to stop giving us such tiresome, formulaic matches. The Usos have expertly taken to their roles as a heel team and have evolved from their high flying, crowd pleasing nature into a ideal foil for the upbeat New Day.
Of course, this isn’t the first time McMahon’s taken a huge bump in a high-profile match. They comment on how they’ve been in WWE for a long time but now all of a sudden people are saying they can go.
[Tag Team Champs] The New Day vs.
Many fans remarked how the SmackDown Tag Team Title match stole the show from the get-go and it’s easy to see why. It’d be the final step in finally washing away the taste of their face-paint babyface run, and the tag team division is heavily skewed toward babyfaces. In a match with Triple H at the No Way Out event in 2000, a backdrop again broke the roof of the cage but this time Foley appeared to buckle the surface of the ring when he landed and was no worse for wear. Charlotte will get a rematch, and it might only be a matter of time before she’s the SmackDown Women’s Champion. Maybe I’m just prejudice to matches involving Baron Corbin. The build for this one centered around Mahal being a very big piece of shit, and not in a good way, if that makes sense. Will Carmella cash in? Just give Charlotte the belt already. The win makes Corbin look like a coward and keeps A.J. Styles strong despite losing the championship.
Fans can also watch it on the WWE Network for £9.99 per month with a free month trial. After failing to cash in on Money in the Bank contract Corbin got yet another title shot after rivalry between him and AJ Styles. The title can give him the boost he deserves and would provide for some new match-ups, feuds. They did a hell of a job, but I could have done without most of the brawl on top of the cage. If WWE brass want people to cheer for Roode, then putting him against someone who is guaranteed to get boo’ed is a smart way to try making it happen.
Bobby Roode, 40 years old Canadian actor and wrestler and a the new WWE signee will face Dolph Ziggler.
MATTHEW ASHER: Can everyday be Rusev Day?
Randy Orton and Rusev are two top athletes – there’s no doubt about that. The finish felt cheap and flat because it didn’t feel like this was an act of desperation from Natalya to save her title as much as it felt like a lazy way for creative to set up a rematch. One can only hope as this has gotten ridiculous.

At SummerSlam, Rusev lost to Randy Orton in ten seconds and it embarrassed the Bulgarian Brute. How rude. How insulting.
