This year, the company is releasing the OnePlus 5T. What has happened since then is nothing groundbreaking but the market sure has shifted towards better-looking smartphones that provide a new kind of user experience.

A new Face Unlock feature is also here in a marketplace of other facial recognition methods such as Apple’s Face ID and Samsung’s limited iris scanning capabilities.
OnePlus has stretched the 5T’s 2160×1080 AMOLED screen almost to the edges of the device, as is the fashion with many competing flagship phones. OnePlus has ditched the telephoto lens to make way for a larger aperture sensor, which now makes a 20MP + 16MP setup with the same f/1.7 aperture. You can thank the novel new display for that.

The OnePlus 5T does retain some key similarities with OnePlus 5 including being powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC, and comes with a 3,300 mAh battery which supports Dash Charge fast charging tech.
