LeBron James gives non-committal answer on future of Ty Lue

If Hill comes to Cleveland, either the Cavs depart with IT or they have to figure out some way to play with both of them on the court, which is easier said than done.

Offense has never been an issue for this Cavs team, which is 3-6 since adding Thomas to the lineup on January 2.

His wife, actress Gabrielle Union, is in town this week, so Wade said he’s going out with her instead of LeBron James and Oklahoma City’s Carmelo Anthony. The Cavaliers host the Thunder on Saturday.

LeBron James has not lost his sense of humor during the Cleveland Cavaliers’ struggles.

And that’s just been in the last day.

The Cavaliers have the 25th-ranked defense in the league and give up the second-most made three pointers each game. James also is the Cavs assist leader with 8.8 per game.

He’ll line up against Kevin Love, who’s coming off his 24th double-double of the season – finishing with 12 points and team-high 11 boards in Thursday’s win over Orlando. That is the 34th highest scoring average for a single season in National Basketball Association history.

The Magic took their first lead of the night on a Shelvin Mack floater with 31.5 left in the fourth at 103-102. The Thunder have been a strong under team against the number this season.

James’ two sons, Bronny, 13, and Bryce, 10, typically attend weekend home games. Oklahoma City has also gone under the total in five out of their last six games. Losers of eight of their past eleven games, with two of the wins in that streak being thoroughly unconvincing as well, the Cavaliers look decidedly unthreatening right now, and are not in title contendership at this level. Boston averages 14 turnovers per game, but it had 14 turnovers in the first half alone and finished with 19. Moreover, the Thunder are among the NBA’s elite on the offensive backboards, ranking first in offensive rebounding percentage (27.8 percent). Oklahoma City had the league’s MVP previous year in Russell Westbrook, and added to its roster by trading for Paul George and Anthony during the offseason.

The Cavs made one last push with James making a layup to cut the Thunder’s lead to 12.

This matchup comes down to a proven champion against a mediocre wannabe team.

According to EPSN.com’s Dave McMenamin, Cavaliers’ “several prominent players” have “expressed doubt that the problem-an aging roster, defensively challenged personnel and a glut of redundant role players-could simply be worked out through patience and a chance to coalesce when fully healthy,”. That’s extremely unlikely to happen now due to burned bridges, an unappealing contract and a now questionable fit, but it does appear that Hill could very well be on the move from his recently joined Sacramento squad. And then the shots we did get, some of which were good shots, we were missing.
