Samsung has confirmed the device will be announced in late February. So by the time the smartphones get officially unveiled, we would know nearly everything about them. As previously reported, the renders show a similar design to the Galaxy S9’s predecessor and will retain the slim bezels and a near edge-to-edge Super active-matrix organic light-emitting diode or AMOLED display.

Although the upcoming Galaxy S9 variants are likely to rival Apple’s iPhone X with a combo, as Samsung Galaxy S9 might feature face unlock and iris scanner, yet the upcoming Galaxy X smartphone will take the rivalry to the next level. The full color palette is: Midnight Black, Lilac Purple, Titanium Gray, Coral Blue, and the usual lineup of special/limited edition finishes. Apart from being bigger, the Galaxy S9 Plus is rumored to get dual rear cameras (while the standard S9 sticks to one), which would support the price disparity.
