Trump made serious allegations to the Federal Bureau of Investigation and USA justice Department

Democrats in the House were quick to castigate the release of the memo.

Despite it being embraced wholeheartedly by Mr Trump, the Republican memo features “mischaracterisations” of the FBI’s actions and lacks crucial context, Democrats told the New York Times.

The California congressman said it would be “very hard” for the Trump administration now to block its release.

The document claims that the Federal Bureau of Investigation used a research report funded by the Democratic Party to put Trump adviser Carter Page under surveillance.

Fusion GPS is a Washington, D.C. -based commercial research and strategic intelligence firm that paid a former British spy to compile a dossier on Trump when he was a presidential candidate.

The President of the United States Donald trump pursues the investigation of the relations of his team from Russian Federation called the FBI and the U.S. Department of justice politically committed. “A lot of people should be ashamed”, the president said, referring to the conduct described in the memo.

The revelation appears to corroborate claims made in a 10-page rebuttal memo crafted by Democrats on the House Intelligence Committee.

The White House declassified the memo Friday, and you don’t have to be a civil libertarian to be shocked by the details. Key Democrats are seeking to put out the document, including the Senate’s Democratic leader, Chuck Schumer of NY, who urged Trump to back the public release and said that refusing to do so would show the president’s intent to undermine the Russian Federation investigation.

Meanwhile, Democrats and other observers, including a number of former law enforcement and intelligence officials, say the memo is just a misleading partisan document meant to undermine the investigation into Russian meddling in the 2016 election and the allegations that the Trump campaign was involved with those efforts.

The committee rejected that move last week, with one Republican member saying revisions were needed so the memo would not endanger national security.

Mr Schumer argued “that the American people be allowed to see both sides of the argument and make their own judgements”. An official said on Sunday that the White House was open to releasing it pending an examination to protect intelligence sources and methods.

However, the Republican president attacked its author Mr Schiff publicly on Monday. So given what we now know about the contents of this memo, were those claims legitimate?

President Donald Trump said on Saturday that a partisan memo released by House Republicans “totally vindicates” him in the investigation into Russian election interference, complaining that the “witch hunt” would go “on and on” even though there had been no collusion or obstruction of justice.

But that assertion has been disputed by several Republican congressmen.

In a follow-up tweet, Trump quoted from a recent speech given by American activist and president of conservative watchdog operation Judicial Watch, Tom Fitton, in which he alleged the Democrats attempted to hide their funding of a dossier that accused Trump of personal ties to the Kremlin.

Cutting against Comey’s credibility is his outrage that the memo “inexcusably exposed classified investigation of an American citizen”, given that the FBI’s spying on Page has been reported to death.
