Donald Trump ‘saddened’ over Rob Porter allegations: White House
U.S. media have reported that Mr Kelly and other White House officials had been aware for several months that the claims were keeping the White House staff secretary from obtaining security clearance.

During Wednesday’s briefing, White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders claimed that Porter made the decision to leave on his own.
“It’s ultimately their determination at the White House whether they want to grant a permanent clearance”, said former Federal Bureau of Investigation assistant director Ron Hosko.
The Trump administration is reeling over domestic violence allegations against a top White House aide, Rob Porter. Both women had details of their troubled marriages to Porter as FBI investigators conducted a routine security background check on him. “The truth must be determined”, Shah said. “The process hadn’t been completed”. “So the president wants to see reforms that improve America’s economy”, Shah said.
The statement Hicks helped draft called Porter a “man of true integrity and honor”.
White House staff secretary Rob Porter announced he’d step down a day after The Daily Mail, a British tabloid that covers the White House, published interviews with two of his ex-wives. It remains unclear what Kelly knew before he saw the images and when he first learned about the allegations.
Shah would not say what, beyond the images of one accuser’s black eye in news reports about the case, had changed between Kelly’s first statement and the second. “We’ll comment on any issues affecting White House staff when we get back to Washington”, he said.
“This is a process used throughout the USA government”, Shah said. Porter submitted his resignation Wednesday, and it was accepted, Shah said. “It means their human”, Kennedy said on CNN when asked about the reports on Kelly’s knowledge.
Kelly traveled to the speech with Trump, a tacit acknowledgment that even as the fallout from Porter’s departure ensnares the chief of staff, the President remains committed to Kelly.
“I don’t know”, Sanders told reporters Wednesday when asked whether Trump had concerns about Porter’s alleged conduct and the photos of his bruised ex-wife. “And if it happened – and there are serious allegations, some honestly believe that it did happen – then Mr”. Despite his official exile, Lewandowksi remained an informal advisor to the president and was traveling with the team to an OH rally, at the time this photo was taken.
“In this and many, many other areas, it appears that the Oversight Committee has constructed a wall around the White House in order to prevent any credible oversight whatsoever”, he wrote.
As Staff Secretary, Porter would handle all of the papers that end up on the President’s desk, including classified materials. Even if Porter was telling his colleagues that the whole thing was simply an attempt by his exes to smear him, wouldn’t a warning from the Federal Bureau of Investigation trump that?

According to reports, the ex-wives of Porter, Colbie Holderness and Jennifer Willoughby, have both vividly recounted the stories of abuse they suffered in the hands of their former husband. She said he broke her window, causing his knuckles to bleed.
