Things are not looking any better for Logan Paul, almost a month after his controversial video he filmed from Japan’s “suicide forest” which showed a dead body hanging.

YouTube is taking further steps to ensure Logan Paul suffers fair consequences for his (repeated) stupid actions. The Google-owned platform have stopped running ads on Paul’s channel temporarily, which has the potential to amount to a loss of more than a million dollars per month for the online celebrity.

YouTube confirmed Friday it made a decision to temporarily pull ads on Paul’s channels in response to his “recent pattern of behavior”.

Paul returned to the video-sharing platform in late January with a suicide prevention video. Paul is back in usual form with a video (above) titled, well, Logan Paul Is Back. In addition, he used a Taser on a dead rat in his most recent video, FOX Business reported. More to the point, however, is that YouTube is acknowledging Paul’s antics might have negative effects well outside his channel.

In one of his recent videos, Paul encouraged people to do the Tide Pod challenge despite the obvious health risks. It was done in a more serious tone that felt both honest and pandering simultaneously due to Paul’s constant shit-heel actions.

It begins with an apology, followed by Paul at a beach, wearing torn clothes and with bloody feet.

Animal rights group PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) was so outraged by the video, it is calling on YouTube to remove it. The falling out of this event was intense and even though the video was terrible, the YouTuber still has millions of followers.

It’s not just that Paul is attempting to monetize these unsavory posts, but that his actions are drawing scrutiny of YouTube’s entire creator community.

The company said it made the decision because it feels his videos are unsuitable for brands and violate its advertiser guidelines.
