Trump again attacks his attorney general

Investigate Russian government interference in the election, and alleged, still unproven Trump campaign collusion to that end. Yet we do have evidence that a senior British spy and Trump hater, Christopher Steele, paid by the Clinton campaign and DNC to dig up dirt on Trump, colluded with Kremlin agents to produce a dossier of scurrilous and unsubstantiated charges, to destroy Trump’s candidacy. The Russian disinformation campaign primarily involved unpaid posts. In his tweets on Sunday, Trump sought to shift the blame to Democrats for Russia’s meddling, saying that President Barack Obama had not done enough to stop the interference.

Trump says he has “been much tougher on Russian Federation than Obama”.

If Russian diplomats appeared at the United Nations alleging that USA shell companies had posted silly ads on Facebook against Putin in an effort to “topple” him, and called it the equivalent of Operation Barbarossa, they’d rightly be laughed out of the building. “Get smart America!” he added.

“No doubt. I believe that Russian Federation interferes in all the elections of, lets say the security council for the United Nations, ‘ Caputo told Chris Cuomo, host of the ‘New Day” program when asked about interference.

“They are spending too much time trying to prove Russian collusion with the Trump campaign – there is no collusion”.

Trump has raised similar issues about the preceding administration every day since Special Counsel Robert Mueller reported indictments of 13 individuals and three businesses in connection with Russian election activity.

Mueller’s team has also leveraged a guilty plea from former Trump national security adviser Michael Flynn for making false statements to FBI investigators.

Mueller is under enormous pressure to find collusion between the Trump team and Russian Federation, or to find that the Trump team obstructed justice by trying to hide such collusion.

“I think the president is reflecting a legitimate question, which is being expressed by many Americans”, he said. The indictment is compelling reading, its evidence damning, and Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein’s televised explanation riveting.

That led Trump to declare that this vindicated his campaign team. The idea that the Russians saw what all of us didnt — that Trump had a serious shot at winning the White House — and figured this out way back in 2014, before Trump even declared his candidacy, is absurd.

On Saturday, the president’s national security adviser, H.R. McMaster, left little doubt about where he stood.

In August of 2017, Congress passed a bill by an overwhelming veto-proof margin (419-3 in the House and 98-2 in the Senate) that imposes new sanctions on Russian Federation in retaliation for meddling in the election and limits the president’s ability to lift them.

But the administration said new sanctions called for under the law were not needed because the measure was already having a deterrent effect. The Russians indicted are not in custody.

On its surface, the effort was to help Trump and hurt Clinton, but underneath was a secondary goal – sowing division among Americans.

Prigozhin’s catering company has worked for the Kremlin and he has been nicknamed “Putin’s chef”.

Cuomo tried to ask him if it was “silly” to try to divert from the serious charges of a Russian cyber war on the USA political system. He has denied the claim.

Instead, Mueller links the ads to companies Concord Management and Consulting LLC and Concord Catering, “related Russian entities with various Russian government contracts”.
