Google targets MWC to exhibit their Augmented Reality advancements
Google is said to preparing a major push for ARCore next week during MWC 2018, reports Variety. In addition to this, you can also expect some new Android One smartphones as well at MWC 2018. Google reckons apps will run 15 percent faster on entry-level devices. Nokia 1 is also expected to be another such handset.

What is glaringly absent from the list is Samsung – the biggest seller of Android-based devices. However, outside of Google’s ecosystem, the number of apps using ARCore right now is still pretty low. By removing Android’s bloat and ensuring a snappy experience, Google hopes that more people will be able to access a high-quality smartphone at an affordable cost. The company is taking advantage of the upcoming Mobile World Congress in Barcelona as an opportunity to launch the promised 1.0 version of the platform. The company says it will add support for more devices as time goes on. Even the Pixel 3 will launch with dark mode support well before the Galaxy S9 gets its Android P update.

There’s no sign of any Go version of the app, but given its cloud capabilities, there probably will not be one.

We might witness a few (though not all) brands taking the wraps off the new Android Go low-budget smartphones next week at MWC.
