The iPhone X, which sold well during the holiday quarter, had an innovative design and features like Face ID and Animoji to lure buyers. So before the event gets underway Sunday and opens officially on Monday, a look at five eagerly awaited phones. The S9 will feature a 5.8-inch display while the S9+ will keep the 6.2-inch screen, both the same sizes as the S8 and S8+. The global variant of the phones will be powered by the Exynos 9810 processor, while the United States variant will have the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor. The device will stick to the thin bezels it first began and also come with a new Sony sensor on its camera, which is rumoured to have a dual pixel autofocus set-up. The rumor mill had leaked a real image of the Nokia 7 Plus Android One phone.

But if you don’t wish to use external storage source, Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge 128GB is also available at a discounted price. Some of those being a centered rear fingerprint scanner, dual cameras on the Galaxy S9+, more RAM, and the same size battery as past year. Samsung’s Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ will also compete against the current Apple flagship, which is the iPhone X and the iPhone 8 Plus as well. Up front, a 16-megapixel Zeiss camera is expected for selfies and bothies.
But it seems like Samsung is not yet prepared yet to make this sacrifice.
The rumour mill has already churned out the chips that Samsung plans to pop in its new Galaxy S9 and S9+ handsets. One feature Samsung may bring to its new phones will be stereo speakers, according to the site.
Ofcourse they are most likely to come with Android 8.0 Oreo, based on Samsung Experience 9.0. While the Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus has an aspect ratio of 18.5:9, the iPhone X offers 19.5:9. Although pricing and availability details of the Galaxy S9 and the Galaxy S9+ will be revealed during the launch, chances are that in India the two phones will be available around middle of March at a price that will be close to Rs 70,000.
Gartner’s figures follow reports earlier this month from research company IDC that China’s annual smartphone sales fell 4.9 per cent in 2017, as consumers in the world’s most populous nation wait longer to upgrade their devices.
Speaking about the findings, Justin Woolridge, Commercial Marketing Manager at Envirofone, said: “When the latest Samsung handset is released, and during the weeks following launch, we see the value of older handsets depreciate dramatically”.

That will no doubt ease the cost, but if you are planning to get the Galaxy S9 you may want to start saving now.
