Royal Rumble victor Nakamura beat Rusev earlier in the night with a pair of Kinshasa knee strikes and the duo of Carmella and Natalya put away Lynch and Naomi when Carmella hit the Lass Kicker with a superkick for the three-count. After screwing Kevin Owens and Sami Zayne out of the WWE Championship at Fastlane, are the three ready to converge? Number one contender, Shinsuke Nakamura will be facing Rusev, basically just to give both of these talents a match. The challenge came a week after Nakamura defeated Aiden English.
There will be one new champion heading to WrestleMania after Randy Orton’s latest RKO was of the Grand Slam variety. Roode will not likely need to get past Orton to “become the greatest United State champion ever” with a second go-around with the belt. It was a huge surprise when Asuka showed up moments after Charllotte Flair retained the SmackDown Live Women’s Championship and set her sights on challenging Charlotte for the title at the Show of Shows, which also means the Raw Women’s Championship picture for ‘Mania is now up in the air with Asuka switching brands.

SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Usos vs. I know that everyone is hoping that Rusev would get a chance to get into the United States of America title picture. After the physical barrage was over, all five members of The New Day and Usos had to at least be assisted to the back, while Xavier Woods had to be taken out in a stretcher. We’ll soon find out. It’s the only way, because no one’s going to settle for less than AJ Styles vs. Shinsuke Nakamura.

The “SmackDown Live” roster will compete Sunday night in Columbus, Ohio with a few matches that will determine what wrestlers will defend titles at the year’s biggest event.
