Rams sign Ndamukong Suh to one-year, $14 million deal
The Rams checked the first box with the Suh addition, but they tackled the second part via the trade market. The Rams could use him along side Michael Brockers and the 2017 NFL Defensive Player of the Year, Aaron Donald. Suh really can’t go wrong with either choice; we’re all just hoping he likes Nashville a little bit more than Los Angeles. “It feels like it’s the Rams deal to lose”.

Defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh has agreed to a one-year, $14 million contract with the Rams, the team announced on twitter. When they penetrate and make the play, it’s lovely. Suh and Donald will undoubtedly give opposing QBs and play-callers nightmares.
This focus on reshaping the team’s defense this offseason was by design. GM Les Snead said Sunday. “I don’t want to load up on people who can get you there, not keep you there”. “Because our offense is young and our defense had some aging parts and some parts that weren’t the best fits for Wade’s scheme”.
That isn’t too surprising, though, given the way his Miami Dolphins tenure unfolded.
It came as somewhat surprising news recently that the Jets made “the biggest offer” to free agent defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh.
The Rams need an edge rusher, but few are available.
Above all else, this was overall the right move to make. And the work is hardly done.
Adding Suh, even for one year, might have been too much to absorb for the Jets.
The Rams are among three teams the former Grant High School Generals star is considering.

That was right in the Rams’ wheelhouse, poised as they are as an up-and-coming National Football League power with Goff, Gurley, Donald and Peters as their foundation, and offering the positive culture created by 31-year-old head coach Sean McVay and a conscientious locker room.
