Stormy Daniels’ Lawyer Moves To Depose Trump And Cohen
Avenatti has asked the Trump Organization to preserve all documents connected to Cohen and Clifford since Cohen used his Trump Organization email to make arrangements with Clifford. When Cooper asked what he would say to people who accused him of bluffing, Avenatti said only, “You should ask some of the other people in my career when they’ve bet on me bluffing”.

Earlier this month, Daniels sued to vacate the non-disclosure agreement she signed days before the 2016 election.
The Clifford hush money, which was paid by Trump’s lawyer 12 days before the election, could possibly be viewed as an undisclosed campaign contribution that far exceeds the allowable $5,400 from any one individual.
There was a “misconception” that the Daniels segment was being held to coincide with the NCCA tournament finals, said Jeff Fager, “60 Minutes” executive producer. Then, he looked at her daughter and said, “That’s a handsome little girl”.
She said after dinner in Trump’s room, they had sex.
If there were a Hall of Fame for unforgettable “60 Minutes” quotes from women, you’d have to include Barbra Streisand’s one-liner, defiantly explaining her decades of psychotherapy to an aggressive Mike Wallace in 1991: “I’m a slow learner”. “I think we can all agree that anyone with common sense, based on the president’s history, believes these women. Never been more voluminous or more inaccurate”, it said.
Not long after the magazine story was killed, Stormy Daniels says she was threatened by a man who approached her in Las Vegas. McDougal also has said Trump made comparisons between her and his daughter.
In a statement to CBS, Mr Cohen’s lawyer David Schwartz called the filing a “reckless use of the legal system in order to continue to inflate Michael Avenatti’s deflated ego and keep himself relevant”.
“Mr. Cohen had absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with any such person or incident, and does not even believe that any such person exists, or that such incident ever occurred”, Cohen’s attorney, Brent Blakely, said in a statement. She does not allege that she was coerced in her encounter with Trump, saying, “This is not a ‘Me too.’ I was not a victim”.
She confirmed that she took hush money and that she originally lied when she denied it. She has taken an important source of Trump’s rhetorical power, a lack of shame, and turned it into his kryptonite.
Ms Clifford has sought to invalidate the agreement, in part because she says Mr Trump didn’t sign it, and said her decision to speak out was driven by suggestions by the president’s associates that she made up the story.
A lawyer for Michael Cohen, Trump’s personal attorney, demanded that Daniels publicly apologize to his client for suggesting he was involved in her intimidation.
But the story that stuck, the one the White House and Trump lawyer Michael Cohen rushed to deny, was the parking lot story.
Stephanie Grisham, a spokeswoman for First Lady Melania Trump, appeared to allude to the allegations in a tweet on Sunday night.
