Conor McGregor attacks bus at Barclays, injures UFC223 fighter

After tweeting profanities directed towards the UFC, McGregor arrived at Barclays Center in NY on Thursday to interrupt the UFC 223 press conference and caused quite the scene.

Holloway (19-3) has won 12 fights in a row dating back to 2013, including back-to-back technical knockouts of Jose Aldo. Tony is still the No. 1 ranked guy in the world either way, no matter who wins.

“Let me tell you, I’m pretty f-ing happy that this came together”, White said at Wednesday’s press conference.

White described his professional relationship with McGregor as “not good” and added: “I think after this disgusting, despicable move I think everybody’s relationship with Conor is going to be not so great”.

Conor McGregor isn’t giving up his title without a fight. Felice Herrig just posted this clip of him on IG going a little wild.

White told reporters that he believed a warrant had been issued for McGregor’s arrest, but no warrant has been issued, according to the NYPD, which has confirmed it is investigating an “incident” at Barclays Center.

“They got down to the loading docks where the fighters were getting on the buses and attacked them, throwing trash cans, dollies, things like that”, White said.

Now McGregor will be forced to watch Nurmagomedov and Holloway compete for the undisputed championship on Saturday night with the victor being declared lightweight champion. On Thursday morning, however, the 29-year-old fired off a massive broadside.

“I don’t understand”, Nurmagomedov said.

His last name is a bit of a tongue-twister (Nurm-a-go-med-ov) which it makes it easier for fans to chant “Khabib”. McGregor is tight with UFC 223 fighter Artem Lobov, who was involved this week in a scuffle in a hotel with Khabib Nurmagomedov.

Even though McGregor’s return to the Octagon is still up in the air at this point, what is clear is that he will have quite a few compelling opponent options to choose from once he is ready to fight again. “That makes him the man”.

Nurmagomedov – who looks like “The Office” beet farmer Mose Schrute – was the only fighter in NY who skipped the open workout and instead turned the session into a Q&A with fans.
