‘Madden NFL 16’ Movie Trailer Is The Dumbest Thing Ever

As is recent tradition, EA Sports released today the official movie for Madden NFL 16 it’s even crazier than last year’s music video. The Atlanta Falcons wide receiver apparently is as good with a karate chop as he is at catching footballs. If you’re not already playing the game, it’s available for free on the Play Store and should have all the new season stuff enabled from the start. Maybe that’s why he has to die.

EA offers a 10-hour trial of Madden 16 on Xbox One with a paid EA Access subscription.

It is all part of Madden: The Movie, a short film that spoofs the video game. Bring on Madden Season. Rather than fight such negativity directly, EA has put together the most hype-iest of hype trailers that sends up every action movie and macho stereotype. Kaepernick plays the role of Al Pacino from Scent of a Woman for some reason.
