We’ve also got a story on a high school sports association sanctioning esports, while deliberately not including shooters.
IGN’s Jonathan Dornbush wrote: “I have audibly said “wow” and sighed at the beauty of God of War”. He ends up in the Realm of the Gods, Norse Gods to be precise; and started from scratch to live his life free from his burdens as a Greek God.
And what smart decisions these turned out to be!
Hacksilver is the currency in this edition of God of War.
If you weren’t completely interested in the latest PlayStation 4 exclusive God of War already, your attention may have been grabbed by the recent flurry of critical praise. The tone of the game has set that Kratos is much removed from his past deeds – which also fits with the changes made to the series’ combat and scope. God of War just launched to the public after receiving critical acclaim last week, we we’re definitely not here to spoil the ending of the game or any massive moments.
The game has so far received 25 flawless scores, which in this world of Negative Nellies, is a tough thing to do. Kratos, the God of War himself, has a new voice (Christopher Judge, who did the motion capture performance for him too), now has an axe for a signature weapon instead of chained blades, and rather than mourning his slaughtered family, he must now contend with a living son – Atreus. So naturally, players will want to get their hands on the game as soon as possible.
“God of War” has surpassed my wildest imagination, gameplay, graphics, and storyline seem to have gone above and beyond what the trailers originally depicted. But to change it back, one must play the game from the very beginning. Rage fuels him, but he sees the same anger in his son and abhors it. Immersion takes all of these items and turns them off. When that happened, “The Witch” (who is actually Baldur’s mother, Freya) swears vengeance on Kratos. In this year’s God of War, a similar system returns but in the form of skill trees, a bit like Middle Earth: Shadow of War. Levelling up, earning currency, gaining more abilities and gear, all of these have more in common with fully-fledged role-playing games than Kratos’ past adventures.

If neither company is willing to say we may never find out what’s going on, but let’s hope it’s sorted out before Detroit: Become Human is released on May 25. The place also houses other prominent gods like Odin and Thor.
