President Barack Obama’s 17-day vacation at a $22.5 million Martha’s Vineyard home includes pretty much everything we’ve come to expect him and his family to demand except for one thing – no Jay-Z.

Obama and Clinton have been occasional golf partners since Obama became president.

She called Obama a day before they met at a private party on the Vineyard and told reporters she would “absolutely” hug it out with the president.

“Good!” said a spry-looking Clinton, donning light blue trousers and a dark shirt, after Obama made his putt on the first hole at Farm Neck Golf Club in Oak Bluffs.

Biden running could create a politically awkward situation for Obama, though he is not expected to endorse a candidate in the party primary.

Jordan, a civil rights activist, attorney and business executive, used to advise President Clinton and has known the Obamas for decades.

The menu included salad, surf and turf, and birthday cake. Clinton has seen her poll numbers in the presidential race decline in recent weeks, prompting fellow Democrats to urge Vice President Joe Biden to challenge her for the Democratic nomination.

Jordan’s 80 birthday party tonight is the hot ticket on the Vineyard.

Clinton was not the only important politician that joined the president in the game of golf. He returns to Washington on August 23. Later in the evening, she hopped over to Nantucket for another fundraiser before hitting the campaign trail again. Hillary Clinton campaigned in Iowa Friday and Saturday, and plans to make it to Martha’s Vineyard in time to celebrate.
