Stormy Daniels’ lawyer calls Giuliani’s defense of the president a ‘train wreck’

Rudy Giuliani, an attorney for President Donald Trump, applauds at the Iran Freedom Convention for Human Rights and democracy at the Grand Hyatt, Saturday, May 5, 2018, in Washington.
So they call up former mayor of New York City-and recent addition to Trump’s legal team-Rudy Giuliani, who is expertly portrayed by cast member Kate McKinnon.
In another interview Thursday, Giuliani speculated about what would have happened if news about the alleged sexual encounter had become public days before the election.
Giuliani also reiterated that he was unwilling to allow Trump to be interviewed by Mueller, despite the president’s reported openness to the idea – and refused to rule out Trump asserting his Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination.
Trump has denied allegations from Daniels, a porn star whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, that they had an affair in 2006. President Trump could also be facing additional charges for money laundering, running an illegal election campaign, and violation of finance laws.
“You put as much pressure on an individual in Cohen’s position as you can, with the idea that they will tell you everything that they know”, Howard, Jr., said.
Giuliani disclosed in an interview on Fox News Wednesday that Trump had repaid Cohen for the payment. “At some point, yes, but it could have been recently, it could have been awhile back”.
“I work in adult films, we’re not really known for our acting”, she said.
“Did you lie to me about the Stormy Daniels affair?” the fake Sanders asks.
Rudy Giuliani appears on “This Week”. And the reporter’s asking Trump, if he reimbursed Cohen, why did he say last month that he had no knowledge of the hush money payment? “If it’s done with Trump’s knowledge. then now we’re talking about something that is related to the campaign and is more serious”.
In other interviews with news outlets, Giuliani said that Cohen complained about not receiving the reimbursement for the Daniels payment after the 2016 campaign to which he brushed off as a rumor.
The relationship stumbled, however, when Trump undercut Giuliani’s accounts of events about the payment to Daniels, which prompted an attempt by Giuliani to “clarify” them.
“On the two main facts, was it for another objective other than just campaign, even if it was campaign? Yes”. “It may have involved the campaign”.
“There’s no question this had everything to do with the campaign”.
That’s what Giuliani seems to suggest.
“I don’t know when the president learned about it, he could have learned about it after, or not connecting it at the time”, Giuliani said Sunday about when Trump found out about the Daniels payment.
We turn now to Michael Avenatti.
“The more Rudy Giuliani talks. the better our case gets”, Avenatti said. My client was preparing to tell her story; my client did not approach Michael Cohen, did not have anyone approach Michael Cohen.
Cohen admitted to paying Daniels $130,000 in hush money out of his own pocket. “Cohen didn’t even ask”.
“Yes. Absolutely. 100 percent”. Giuliani responded, “Well maybe I did”. He is the attorney representing Stormy Daniels and he joins us live from Los Angeles. But let me say this, the idea that Mr. Giuliani that he still doesn’t know what the facts are.
She added that when she was Trump’s campaign manager, she “was not made aware” of the Daniels matter either. She’s become rich as a result of this. He said that the $130,000 doesn’t mean anything. “Boy, I wish that was my case”.
Stephanopoulos asked Avenatti about Giuliani’s remarks.
Take a look at the full response in the video above.

“You stated it as fact”, Stephanopoulos said. “But I would think if it was necessary, yes”.
