Mourinho: Calm, but not happy
After a testing week, a visit to West Bromwich Albion today is the one of the last assignments Jose Mourinho would have chosen for his spluttering Chelsea side. “I am very excited to start my adventure at Chelsea and I am here to keep winning titles“, said Pedro.

The Chelsea boss has been in an abrasive mood since the opening day of the campaign and has no qualms in admitting that he is not pleased with the performance of his team.
“He wants something more for his career, that’s an evident sign of ambition”.
However, Mourinho suggested Pedro is unlikely to face West Brom, saying: “I don’t know if the new players are available for Sunday or not”, per Chelsea.
“I can perfectly have one more player than is normal for us”, Mourinho said. The Blues are yet to record a win this season and were left reeling after a 3-0 defeat at title rivals Manchester City.
He told me he wants to come here, so it’s over to you.
“I only want to beat Man United on the pitch”, said the 53-year-old.
“The market is an opportunity window where you have to be careful not to lose your best players but also an opportunity window to get players you were not expecting to get”.
And Mourinho, who described himself as the “Special One” when he first joined Chelsea and the “Happy One” when he returned two summers ago, says he is not so contented at the moment.
Nevertheless, he conceded that neither he nor his players had competed at the requisite level in their first two games.
“Pedro wants more and I’m really happy with that kind of attitude”.
Roberto Martínez has won only two points in 12 Premier League matches versus Manchester City as a manager (W0, D2, L10). “I’m really happy with this approach”.
‘Did you sign already for another club?’ The Portuguese, who will also recall Thibaut Courtois after suspension, has been experimenting in training with different combinations in defence and attack this week and could partner Terry with Kurt Zouma.
Pellegrini said, “I think we needed another centre-back”. What intrigues me is if John Terry will start in this game.

Meanwhile, Chelsea’s visit to the Midlands could mark Saido Berahino’s last match as a West Brom player.
