But Apple fans don’t have much longer to wait either way, with WWDC 2018 set to kick off shortly.

The most definite thing about WWDC is that new software will be released. The upcoming version of Apple’s mobile operating system could bring new NFC features.

Developers and students attending the event will have access to more than 1,000 Apple engineers, giving them the latest details about the various APIs available to them, whether for SiriKit, HomeKit or HealthKit, etc.

Additionally, Apple has also launched an app for WWDC on the App store.

Expect the new dark theme to be a hit with a lot of users.

The changes are expected to take effect in macOS 10.14.

“We need to get finer-grain language and start to understand that an iPhone is just a refrigerator, it’s not the addiction”.

The Verge keeps their predictions simple and writes that the introduction of iOS 12 and macOS 10.14 is coming.

This development might be an indication of what’s to come on the software front.

Rumours suggest that there could be an integration between Mac and iOS apps.

There are not many leaks about watchOS 5, except for a new watchface that is inspired by the pride movement.

There’s still no word as to when Apple is planning on launching it, Users are hoping that they will get an update on it at the keynote this year.

As for the hardware, no one really knows outside of the Infinite Loop. While reports suggest that Spotify might make it to watch which is pretty cool, but something more relevant for the India market might be new watch faces and fitness related features.

We’re expecting Apple’s CEO Tim Cook to take the San Jose Convention Center stage later today, and TechRadar will be there watching live to give you the first news on all the big announcements. According to the source Tekz24, the iPhone SE 2 will be manufactured and assembled in India, unlike other Apple devices which have been manufactured in China by Foxconn.

In other words, the big announcements from Apple will all relate to the iPhone software. So it will be no surprise if this year is another “hardware-less” WWDC.
