President Donald Trump and North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un signed an agreement on Tuesday pledging to work towards the complete denuclearization of the Korean peninsula, while the US would provide security guarantees for the country.

“North Korea has previously confirmed to us its willingness to denuclearize, and we are eager to see if those words prove honest”, Pompeo said.

Both ex-leaders have become a cautionary tale for autocrats with nuclear ambitions, as they both surrendered their countries’ weapons of mass destruction programs, only to be eventually deposed with USA help.

Rodman recalled speaking to then president Barack Obama about these conditions, but “Obama didn’t even give me the time”.
