Jurgen Klopp would not swap Liverpool front three for PSG strikers

Liverpool’s next match will be against PSG in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday, September 18, while Tottenham will face Inter Milan on the same day. In 2018, Mbappe is a household name and a World Cup victor with France, justifying the big bucks paid by PSG to bring the young star to Paris.

The Malian worldwide started his career with Auxerre in France, before signing for Valencia in 2003, playing for two years before signing for Liverpool in 2005. If an opponent gets a yellow card then he’s much closer to a red card.

“There is no doubt about his quality, if Daniel Sturridge is fit, he will play a role in the team, 100%”, Klopp said in the summer. The Dutchman is expected to feature once again as the deepest of the three midfielders for Liverpool, with the ever-present James Milner and midfield dynamo Naby Keita expected to take up the other two slots.

Supporters will be hopeful that Firmino can play a part against PSG in midweek, with the Reds in the midst of a busy period in their fixture list. Now we won a few games, that’s good, but it doesn’t change anything for us. Over 85 minutes we were really dominant. “We still have to cope with that and that’s what we try to do”. It’s a big job.

“I always used to put Steven Gerrard up front because he had a massive shot”, he said. I’m pretty sure it’s not. “He is a fantastic footballer, an outstanding player”.

Alarm over Harry Kane’s lacklustre form continues after he acted as a peripheral figure against Liverpool and Spurs coach Mauricio Pochettino was once again forced to defend England’s golden boot victor at the recent World Cup.

“I think I accidentally liked this comment while I was scrolling through the comments”, he replied. He won’t be injured.

Firmino revealed on Instagram: “It was just a scare, my eye is ok and so am I. Thank you for all the support and see you soon”.

The Ligue 1 giants arrive at Anfield, like their hosts, boasting a ideal record for the season so far, and on the back of a convincing 4-0 win at home to St Etienne.

Jurgen Klopp was trying to not get ahead of himself, but he couldn’t quite make it to the end of his post-match press conference without positivity flowing through his words.
