Something to look forward to: In August previous year, Samsung unveiled its first dual rear camera smartphone, the Note 8.

Just yesterday, Samsung announced its new three-camera Galaxy A7 2018. It offers an impressive display and top spec features in a slim package. On the rear, the phone has not one or two, but three cameras in total. On the other hand, the Galaxy J4+ comes with a single lens 13MP camera with f/1.9 aperture. The main one has a 24Mp sensor and along with the “depth lens” allows you to control depth of field.

Apart from that, though, the Galaxy A7 is your usual mid-range smartphone.

It is no longer a rumor, Samsung Galaxy A7 is officially out.

The Samsung Galaxy A7 sports a 6.0-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED infinity display boosting pixels resolution of 1080×2220 with 2.5D curved glass at the front and the back forming a glass sandwich form factor. The front camera has a powerful 24MP sensor that shoots photos at stunning details and the same goes for the rear assembly. The Samsung Galaxy J4 Plus will sport a similar design but there will be no side-mounted fingerprint sensor on the device.

The Galaxy A7 draws power from 2.2GHz octa-core processor.

Available in four colors – black, blue, gold, and pink – it will be released in select European and Asian countries later this fall, with plans to add more markets in the near future. The smartphone will include a dedicated microSD card slot for expanding the memory further by up to 256GB. It also has the firm’s AI assistant Bixby, as well as Samsung Pay and Samsung Health.

On the rear, the phone has a vertical triple camera setup and an LED flash below it.

Some camera features include Scene Optimizer (Scene Detection), Bokeh Mode, Filters, AR Emojies etc. The fourth variant would be identical to the Galaxy S10 Plus, but it will offer 5G support instead of 4G LTE. Though the company hasn’t announced the maker of the processor, it is speculated to come with an Exynos processor.
