Kavanaugh Denies Sexual Misconduct Charges from 3rd Woman
The talks are a safe space for employees to express themselves, though they are encouraged to keep their conversations work appropriate, Armsey said. “And I have to ―” Feinstein said before Grassley broke in.

“But first, Ford will step forward to tell her story – exposing herself to the world, instantly becoming an icon of the social revolution unleashed by the #MeToo moment and putting her own reputation and her family’s safety at risk”. Her nerves were evident, and her voice cracked during her testimony.
Before she began, committee chairman Chuck Grassley of Iowa defended the Republicans’ handling of the confirmation proceedings so far.
The woman also made other accusations in her statement. “I have never done that to her or anyone”.
Mr Kavanaugh is due to testify later today.
“I think we’ve been very fair”, he added. His friend, Mark Judge, was in the room and encouraged the attack, she said. I believed he was going to rape me.
Ginsburg said she misses late Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia, who passed away in 2016. Feinstein criticized Republicans who have rejected Democratic demands to slow Kavanaugh’s confirmation process and let the FBI investigate all the allegations, saying, “What I don’t understand is the rush to judgment”.
“100 percent”, Ford said.
Kavanaugh has been accused of sexual misconduct by two other women, putting his nomination for the US Supreme Court at risk.
Kavanaugh has denied the allegations. Ford says the drunken sexual assault happened as she has described, and Kavanaugh once again categorically denies that he has ever done such a thing or was even at the party in question.
The other accusation alleged Kavanaugh engaged in sexual misconduct in college.
Republicans acknowledged that much was riding on Kavanaugh’s performance.
How Kavanaugh could impact Supreme Court: Kavanaugh is a staunch conservative, and his confirmation would cement conservative control of the Supreme Court – furthering Trump’s efforts to shift the federal judiciary to the right.
In response, Trump declared that allegations against his Supreme Court pick were “all false to me” during a press conference in NY on Wednesday evening.
Two additional women have come forward with accusations against Kavanaugh, Deborah Ramirez and Julie Swetnick. Kirsten Gillibrand told reporters, “I don’t know how any Republican watching this testimony could possibly vote for Brett Kavanaugh after what she said”. He rejected Swetnick’s claim in a statement Wednesday as “ridiculous and from the Twilight Zone”. The Democratic Party has balked at Trump’s nominee, and the controversy surrounding the assault allegations has only deepened the battle lines between the two parties.
In his tweet, Avenatti says he sent Swetnick’s testimony to chief counsel for nominations on the judiciary committee, Mike Davis, on Monday and has still not heard back.
The second accuser, Ramirez, a classmate of Kavanaugh’s at Yale University, told the New Yorker magazine that he exposed himself to her at a party when they were both first-year students. The Republican senators have turned over questioning on their part to Rachel Mitchell, an Arizona sex crimes prosecutor who has been viewed as a victim’s advocate in such cases. Protesters are being kept off that floor of the office building.
“This was never more evident to me than when, to raise money for football camp, I spent a few weeks working as a bag boy at the local supermarket”, he wrote.

Ford responded, “Indelible in the hippocampus, it was the laughter”.
